The weather is growing cooler, we have officially had our first snow fall and I am looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving next week. There is something about this time of year that feels so cozy. In the evening I enjoy drinking a hot cup of chamomile tea (recently my favorite) and knitting by the fire. This time of year I also feel more inclined to spend time cooking in the kitchen. Jemimah is already talking about baking Christmas cookies. : )
With these thoughts in mind I have made some new items for my Etsy shop. This afternoon I added three new
aprons.
Two cozy white flannel
nightgowns in size small and medium. Both gowns are delicately hand embroidered in white.
A jade wool
bow scarf. This scarf style is my favorite! The design is so practical as it won't slip around like a standard scarf.
I also listed a few vintage finds. These two
cookbooks and some
apron patterns from the 1940's and 1950's.
I am offering a special sale of 10% off everything in my
Etsy shop today through the weekend. To take advantage of the special offer use coupon code 10PERCENT
when checking out.
Oh such lovely aprons! And the nightgown is so pretty and feminine.
ReplyDeleteThe new items you have added are absolutely LOVELY!!!

Dearest Sarah, as with each visit, I feel so undeniably cozy reading your post this evening. What cheer to think of the coziness and warmth you are enjoying creating by the fire and spending time in the kitchen, as well as the fun of looking forward to baking cookies with your sweet Jemimah. Your handiwork is always just so beautiful! That scarf style truly is both so lovely and practical, and the fabric on your apron is so cheery and wintry! Your shop is full of beauty. And I love the vintage loveliness of the items you added- that canning book cover especially makes me smile to think of my grandma who loves to can.
ReplyDeleteSuch a joy to visit you today. I also thank you so much for the blessing of your last comment I so enjoyed.
It truly is a most wonderful season, I can see why Thanksgiving is your favorite♥
I am thankful and grateful for your treasured friendship. And in case I am not present online as much with the events of Thanksgiving week to visit again to do so, I wish you and your dear family a most joyous of Thanksgivings full of the Lord's blessings!!
Hugs to you,
Jazzmin
Hi Sarah, I hope this finds you have a lovely evening :) I just wanted to come back here to thank you for your comment today because it blessed me so (and here so you will receive it just in case autoreply is not on)! It made me smile to know we share an admiration for Charles Boyer's acting and I was so delighted to receive your recommendations- I await watching those titles you shared as I have never seen them. If they are still on Youtube, I will surely be watching them very soon. I also don't believe I have watched Christmas Homecoming and will look for it on TCM.
ReplyDeleteOh indeed the Lord's goodness to us is wonderful to see all around us, so beautifully said, Sarah. Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed my thoughts, for your most kind words, and THanksgiving wishes as well!
May you and your family have a blessed Thanksgiving, too!
